Getting the interview

Now comes the crucial part. so fatima and i filmed the documentary together. we had the equipment ready we needed to get what we wanted. as we tested everything we came to know that our mic was not working and even after trying our best we couldn't make it work. this was our first documentary so we had limited resources. while checking the sound of the mic on the laptop we got an idea of recording the interview with the help of the laptop. as there was only one narrator so this idea was quite successful. we got the audio on the laptop which we could sync later while editing.
coming to actually taking the interview. i had rough notes from class as what should be kept in mind while taking the interview, kept those in mind with the questions i was going to ask and started the interview.

  

we had one camera for the interview so we decided to use it as roll A and after finishing the interview we will get the shots of the art pieces as roll b. so at the end we had roll A and the interview that we needed. after finishing the interview we filmed the art pieces that we will show in the documentary. at the end i had to collect all the data in one place so i can start editing my documentary.
