Archives

it isn't necessary to get archives into the documentary because you might not get the footage or you might think it isn't what you want. for this documentary i wanted to add archives to make the documentary more relateable and some what more interesting. my father had a knack for making videos so i found the old videos from which i could get what i was looking for. the videos were quite long and were not in the format i wanted them to be in. after trying to find video converters online and failing because the size of the videos was too large to be uploaded.
after multiple attempts i thought of cropping the videos and then converting them to the format i required.
downloaded the Freemake Video Converter and started working on the achieves. i had a rough draft of the interview and had an idea as to what i wanted as archives. the footage that i thought might be useful i collected them and made a separate folder to be used later while editing the documentary.
